IT’S A TRAP! ships to any postal address in Australia by Australia Post.
If your order is too large for Australia Post size and weight limits, such as the big fox traps or for bulk wholesale orders, you will see an automated message that we do not ship to your address.
In this case, please phone IT'S A TRAP! on 1300 487 287 or 03 5422 1130 and a shipping price will be quoted for a courier or truck to your physical street address, including farms.
Shipping is from our postcode 3444 in Kyneton, Victoria to the rest of Australia.

IT'S A TRAP! makes no representations or warranties about the suitability, accuracy or currency of the contents of this website, lack of viruses or any other matter whatsoever with respect to this website or contents.
The website is provided on an "as is" basis without warranty of any kind. IT'S A TRAP! hereby disclaims all representations, warranties and other terms with regard to this website including all implied terms as to merchantability and fitness for purpose.
If and to the extent any state does not permit the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, IT'S A TRAP! liability, in such state, shall be limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Some (but not all) goods from IT'S A TRAP! such as the RatZapper come with a warranty. For the repair or replacment of a faulty unIt to be made during the warranty period, a Return Product Number from IT'S A TRAP! is required before the goods are accepted back in our warehouse. Otherwise the parcel will be unopened and returned to sender.
IT'S A TRAP! does not sell, swap or exhange customer information except for the purpose of a delivery address to deliver your items through reputable roadfreight carriers and Australia Post.
IT’S A TRAP! delivers products Australia-wide using Australia Post and road freight for parcels larger than Australia Post’s maximum size. This larger size includes fox traps. All deliveries require the receiver’s signature. Each delivery has a unique tracking number.
Freight charges depend on the delivery location and the goods to be shipped. You can find the freight cost on the product page of each item or a combined shipping charge will be given during the shopping cart check out process. The minimum freight charge is $12.00.
As part of our freight service, IT’S A TRAP! offers freight insurance to ensure that the customer is protected if their goods are l
ost or damaged in transit. Freight insurance is optional so customers will need to select this option during the shopping cart process if they require it. We ship your goods under one of the two following methods depending upon which insurance option you select:
If you select the Plus Freight Insurance option, your goods will be freighted to you inclusive which means IT’S A TRAP! assumes all responsibility for delivering ordered goods to your delivery address. Any transit damage or loss of goods will be covered by IT’S A TRAP! at no risk to you. Once you have signed the "Proof of Delivery" when the goods are delivered to you, any and all damage to the product then becomes your responsibility.
Please ensure your goods are delivered in good condition before signing the "Proof of Delivery."
If you do not select the Freight Insurance option, goods will be freighted to you where you assume all responsibly for loss or damage of the goods from IT’S A TRAP! to you. No transit damage or loss liability will be accepted by IT’S A TRAP! under any circumstances if you do not select the Freight Insurance option.
Delivery time depend on your distance from our Kyneton warehouse in Victoria and by the method of transport. Goods are generally shipped within two business days of the receipt of the order. If there is a delay for any reason, you will be notified.
If a road carrier delivers your order and no authorised person is present to receive it, there may be a second delivery charge to the customer. If the posted parcel size is too big for your letterbox, Australia Post leaves a card advising you to collect your order from the local post office.
Customers can simply return the product to IT’S A TRAP! in Kyneton, Victoria and we will provide you with an exchange, refund or repair within the following guidelines.
This policy applies to all purchases made from IT’S A TRAP!, whether instore or online.
Proof of Purchase
Please note that all returns, refunds, exchanges or repair requests must be accompanied by any of the following Proof of Purchase documents:
- Original receipt (no photocopies accepted)
- Tax Receipt/Invoice or Despatch Confirmation for items purchased online
As a consumer, you are entitled to the benefit of statutory consumer guarantees in respect of items purchased from IT’S A TRAP! IT’S A TRAP will, at all times, honour its obligations under consumer guarantees in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. If you wish to return an item that you believe is defective or otherwise in breach of your consumer guarantees, it may be necessary for the item to be returned to the manufacturer for assessment to determine whether or not you are entitled to an exchange, refund or repair.
